About Me
I'm Michał Pietrykowski, a full stack developer from Wrocław. I wrote my first programs, mostly text adventures, in QBASIC in secondary school. Today I work mainly in Python and TypeScript, and for the past year mostly on LLM-based products.
I have an engineering degree in IT Automation Systems from Wrocław University of Science and Technology (grade 5.0). I'm now doing a part-time master's in Computer Science at WSB Merito University and should finish in early 2027.
I care a lot about code review and automated tests. In my free time I build VELMOIS, the online store for our moissanite jewelry brand, which runs on my own server.
Outside of programming I read Asimov, drink a lot of coffee and keep coming back to Cyberpunk 2077.

Professional Experience
Full Stack Developer (AI) - Causality
January 2026 - Present
Main author of the AI assistant in STRUCTURA, a SaaS platform where companies define their own data schemas and an LLM fills them with data from documents, Gmail, OwnCloud and Google Calendar.
- Built the assistant's chat in Next.js and LangChain, with streaming and threaded history, and extended it so it can do everything the UI can.
- The agent never saves data on its own. Every change goes to the user as a proposal and runs only after approval.
- Built a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that fills in forms on web pages with data from the system, with Auth0 login and tests in Vitest.
Full Stack Developer - Lokey (IRMATIC)
April 2025 - Present
Developing the IRMATIC CMS and the apps running on IRMATIC medicine cabinets and smart lockers.
- Leading the integration of IRMATIC devices with the AMMS hospital system, working directly with Asseco and hospital staff.
- Front end in Vue.js, Quasar and TypeScript, back end in Flask, SQLAlchemy and PostgreSQL.
- Writing tests in Pytest and deploying with Docker on AWS, where the infrastructure is managed in Terraform.
Full Stack Developer - Correct Context (Comscore)
April 2024 - December 2025
- Built REST APIs and microservices in Django, Django REST Framework and FastAPI, with React on the front end.
- Wrote Airflow DAGs for data processing and prepared documentation for moving from on-premise to AWS.
- Maintained CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and test suites in Pytest.
Software Engineer Intern & QA Automation Intern - Dolby Laboratories
December 2022 - April 2024
- Maintained the Dolby Access desktop app in C# and .NET: fixed bugs, added features and wrote xUnit tests.
- Earlier, as a QA intern, built Python test automation in Pytest, including a Raspberry Pi USB Gadget package and a Page Object Model, and helped with regression testing.

What's Next?
At work I want to keep building AI agents that work on real company data, where every change has to be approved by the user.
Outside of work I'm getting VELMOIS ready for launch.
